Business Delegation Trip to Riyadh and Dubai, December 2024
Riyadh and Dubai, 12/12/2024: Just two months after establishing the global advisor network of experts “Logistics Partners”, we conducted our first joint activity. During an international logistics business trip, our partners and participants explored the dynamic logistics landscapes of Riyadh and Dubai, including Logimotion trade fair participation.
On the first day of the Logistics Partners delegation trip, our delegation visited the logistics company AJEX in Riyadh. Our participants were able to learn about AJEX´s current business areas and forthcoming developments. This made it possible to derive individual opportunities for business development and market access for each partner.
As part of the delegation trip to Riyadh and Dubai, we had the opportunity to visit Logimotion in Dubai. Our delegation was greeted warmly by representatives of Messe Frankfurt GmbH and Michael Johannes. Our delegation members used Logimotion Dubai to gain first-hand insights into this emerging logistics market. The event provided numerous networking opportunities, enabling contacts to be made with high-level logistics professionals.
As part of the SCALEX Conference at the Logimotion trade fair in Dubai, Stefan Schröder, Managing Director of LNC LogisticNetwork Consultants GmbH, moderated the Opening Leadership Panel Discussion on the topic “Examining Trends and Challenges Shaping Global Supply Chains”. The panellists discussed the impact of shifting trade policies and tariffs on global supply chains. They also explored strategies for adapting to evolving consumer demands and the growth of e-commerce.
As part of the TransMobility Forum at the Logimotion trade fair, three of our founding partners discussed the logistical capabilities of the partner countries in the session entitled "Best Logistics Partners Choice: Egypt vs Turkey". Ahmed El Dahshan, Managing Director of KML - Khedivial Marine Logistics SAE, provided insights into the opportunities and challenges of the domestic logistics industry in Egypt. Dr. Ergin Büyükbayram, Managing Director of Logistics Consulting Services, explained the role that Türkiye plays in changing international transport flows. The panel was moderated by Stefan Schröder, Managing Director of LNC LogisticNetwork Consultants GmbH. He emphasised the benefits of cooperation between German logistics companies and their Turkish and Egyptian counterparts.
Our first joint activity as Logistics Partners demonstrated the immense potential of collaboration within the international logistics sector. The insights gained, connections made, and discussions held in Riyadh and Dubai have laid the foundation for future partnerships and business opportunities. We are committed to further strengthening our network and working together to shape the future of global logistics.
