Implementation of a logistics matchmaking service
The matchmaking service we implemented for a customer aims to bundle inquiries about logistics projects, spread them across a network of German logistics companies and thus provide inquirers with access to a broad pool of potential interested parties. The matchmaking service was implemented using a digital form. The form was tailored to the customer's requirements and serves as an essential tool for facilitating communication within the network.
In addition to the conception, implementation and support of the matchmaking service, we are also responsible for handling the inquiries on behalf of the customer. To this end, we engage in communication with the inquirers. By distributing them in the network, we offer a high level of visibility, which significantly increases the chance of finding a suitable partner. The inquirer can achieve results with considerably less effort than with numerous direct inquiries.
We regularly create evaluations for our customers on the requests we receive for the matchmaking service. This enables our customers to have a clear understanding of the services being requested and the countries the requests originate. This allows our customers to estimate the impact of measures (such as trade fair appearances where the matchmaking service is promoted).
Following each request, we maintain communication with the requester to ensure that their request is handled in the most effective and efficient way possible . Close communication with the requester and follow-up action contribute significantly to the meaningful measurement of success.
Over the course of a 10-year-history, we have facilitated the transfer of over 300 inquiries to our customer's network. The majority of inquiries originated from China, Turkey and Germany.
